The Voguemobile is in its second week of making Ottawa’s streets a bit more chic.
Although the weather has felt more like October than June, our fashion truck is off to a great start. We have already met a ton of extraordinary women in the Glebe, the Byward Market and in Westboro, as well as hundreds of folks at Westfest. Voguemobile is also gearing up for the Ottawa Jazz Festival at the end of the month and looking forward to mixing cool fashion with smooth music. (Follow our online calendar to find out where our fashion truck will be parked next.)
Voguemobile specializes in independent designers. Simply put, the items we choose for our truck are beautiful and must have a wow factor. Clothing that feels fun and fabulous to wear is how we roll.
Héricher from Montréal embodies the above criteria, with clothes that are crafted and sewn in his Montréal studio. Classic and feminine, his dresses drape wonderfully on a variety of body types and are incredibly versatile. This week we sold one of his dresses to a brides-maid to be, and another one to a woman who simply “found the perfect blue dress.”
Visit the Voguemobile to touch and try Héricher’s wonderful garments (yes we have a change room on board) and to discover other original lines and looks. You can view our entire collection at voguemobile.com.
