Navy Tunic - Lococina for Voguemobile
Structured asymmetrical navy tunic with pocket is made from 55% linen and 45% cotton. Classic and timeless, this hand-made high fashion garment can be worn with pants or paired with leggings. Designed locally and made exclusively for Voguemobile.
Made in Ottawa Canada, Lococina de-constructs dress design, time-zones and fashion codes. Draping natural fabrics to conceal, reveal and celebrate the feminine shape, Lococina fearlessly merges pant with skirt and day with night. Lococina was founded in 2006 – but Helena Jones' love for dramatic design and her dream to own her own label began years earlier while she watched her mother work backstage at a Russian operetta house. A job at a European textile factory to fund university contributed to her signature appreciation for fabric quality and structure. Helena works with her sister and business partner, Mila Mumuldi, to showcase Lococina’s bold and elegant fashion and jewelry collections in a sleek boutique in Ottawa’s heritage market district, as well as in Canadian and European Fashion weeks - and now on Ottawa's first fashion truck, Voguemobile.
